Nashville songwriter Tammy Vice records for GodsChild Records. Her CDs include Love Can Grow, Miracles & Memories, Breaking the Chains, and More Than Just Getting By. Originally from Mobile, Alabama, Tammy has performed her music nationwide at special events, festivals, churches, conferences, workshops and music venues. She has also appeared on worldwide television and radio programs. Tammy was the Country Music Hall of Fame’s 2009 nominee for the Mary Catherine Strobel Volunteer Award and received the VSA TN 2015 Artist of the Year Award. As a songwriter and artist, Tammy has had four songs reach #1 on Christian Music Weekly and Country Gospel Music Association charts, including Take the Wheel, Lord, co-written and recorded by Ann Hartmann (#1, CGMG) and her own version of Grandma Edmond’s Daily Bread (#1, CMW). Also among her writing credits is the theme song for Come on In, the TCT Network television show hosted by Melanie Walker. Tammy was also awarded the 2008 Contemporary Christian Crown Jewel Award by USAGEM (United States Association of Gospel Entertainers and Musicians). Tammy is the producer and host of the annual Breaking the Chains concert, a benefit event held each year since 2001 at Nashville’s prestigious Bluebird Café. The event creates awareness about Autism and raises funds for Autism Tennessee. Tammy, whose daughter Morgan was diagnosed with autism at age three, is a strong advocate for this cause. With Morgan, now age twenty-one, Tammy co-authored the book 52 Blue Mondays, published in 2015.
